OVERVIEW

The Michelin XTA2 Energy is a highway terrain . all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS . as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire promotes excellent fuel efficiency. It was produced from a special fuel saving compound and molded into a symmetric ribbed tread pattern. They work together to ease the driving pressure off the tire during its performance without decreasing its all weather traction. In this manner . they decrease the rolling resistance affecting the model. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance lessens the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions . which guarantees a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly performance.

The model's tread design and compound also improve its all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern with the detailed siping and groove placement and the all season tire compound increase the tire's dry . wet and winter weather performance.
